61st Annual Fish Bowl Classic

Calendar Event: September 11, 2008 - September 14, 2008

Arabia Temple Number #12, Oasis of Portsmouth, Desert of Virginia will host the 61st Annual Fish Bowl Classic. This most anticipated event will be bustling with excitement.
The Nobles of Arabia Temple in conjunction with the cities of Portsmouth and Norfolk invites you to enjoy an exhilarating three days of fun, fraternal fellowship and thrilling black college football action, featuring the Spartans of Norfolk State University verses the North Carolina University Aggie's, of Greensboro, North Carolina . Expect to enjoy a truly festive weekend with all that Portsmouth and Norfolk has to offer.
Join us as the weekend kicks-off with the Annual HPIP Alvin V. Dildy
Charity Fish FI-Y and Dance at the Arabia Temple on Thursday night
September 11th and Friday, September 12th the Golf Tournament will be at the Bide Wee Golf Course in Portsmouth, Virginia with a tee time. Of 8
am. Lunch will be served at the Club House with the awarding of prizes.
Friday, September 12th the Fish Bowl Classic Queen's Inaugural Ball at
Holiday Inn Portsmouth, from 9:00pm - midnight. Other special events are also planned later during the day for your entertainment. Of course, the signature Fish Bowl Parade will be held as usual in downtown Portsmouth on Saturday morning, September 13 beginning at 10 am. The pre-game tailgate party starts at 2:00pm at William (Dick) Price Stadium on the campus of Norfolk State University and kickoff is at 4:00 pm. The
Saturday night festivities will cap off this Classic event the charm of Old Town Portsmouth and a dance at the Arabia Temple Number 12. It is a
perfect time to visit, see old friends and make new ones.
